Nuray received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2010 and 2013, respectively. In her M.Sc., she studied genetic regulation of zebrafish olfactory receptors. During her M.Sc., she was also funded as a visiting student in NERF-VIB-KU Leuven in 2011 for her project involving electrophysiological measures of epileptic seizures. She, then, received her Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics and Genetics from Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2020. There, she analyzed allosteric communication networks of human beta-2 adrenergic receptor using computational biology tools. After completing her Ph.D. studies, she joined NODDS as a postdoctoral researcher. She is now focusing on revealing heterogeneous cellular information networks by using theories from data science and dynamical network analysis.
