We are excited to announce a fully-funded opening for a Master’s position under our new TÜSEB B project titled:
“Characterization of Drug Resistance Molecular Mechanisms in Glioblastoma Multiform Brain Cancer Using Single-Cell RNA and Spatial Transcriptomics Sequencing Methods.”
The project focuses on analyzing Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) samples using cutting-edge single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-Seq) and spatial transcriptomics technologies. The selected candidate will engage in bioinformatics analysis to uncover the mechanisms driving drug resistance in GBM.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
• Prior experience and current interest in coding and bioinformatics tools are preferred.
• A strong passion for transcriptomics analysis and computational biology.
What We Offer:
• A fully-funded opportunity to work with advanced transcriptomics and spatial data.
• Mentorship in bioinformatics analysis and molecular mechanisms of cancer.
• A dynamic, friendly, and interdisciplinary research environment.
How to Apply:
Send the following to [email protected]:
* Your CV.
* A brief research interest statement.
* Contact information for two referees.
Join us to push the boundaries of cancer research and make a significant contribution to uncovering the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in GBM .
